Job Context

 

Pathways of the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh implemented by "Gram Bikash Kendra" Parvatipur-5250, Dinajpur, accredited with the financial and technical assistance of the Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) a statement from the Microcredit Regulatory Authority (MRA) (Certificate No. 01271-01016-00183). For the following roles, Prosperity for Extremely Poor People (PPEPP), a program funded by the European Union, is accepting applications from Bangladeshi individuals.

 

 

 

 

Job Responsibilities

 

·        Acting as focal for implementation of community mobilization activities and providing technical assistance.

·        Institutions of local government (Union Parishad, Upazila Parishad/Municipality) as well as Upazila Administration, Upazila Social Service Office, Upazila Education Office, Upazila Women Affairs Officer Office, and Upazila Agriculture, Fisheries, and Animal Resources Office and health care providers (Community Clinic, Union Health and Family Center, Upazila Health Complex) to maintain regular communication with project members to assist them in accessing government services.

 

·        Creation of plans and standards to educate the public about the current social issues in the neighborhood, particularly child marriage, eviction, violence against women, and narcotics, dowry using 'no cost low cost' strategy.

 

·        Supporting the creation of materials, as well as the planning and execution of community advocacy initiatives for philanthropy Candidates with expertise in community mobilization positions in any national and international development organizations will be given preference.

 

·        To aid in making connections between the allocated job and other endeavors including market linkage efforts, livelihood, health and nutrition, and other aspects of the project's overall goals

 

·        The initiative addresses interconnected (cross-cutting) issues such integrating people with disabilities into society, raising awareness of natural disasters and the impact of climate change, empowering women, and providing assistance.in the acceptance and execution of initiatives for community resource mobilization

Employment Status

 

·        Full-time

·        Educational Requirements: Post Graduate in any subject. However, preference will be given to those with advanced degrees in social science, law, anthropology, and social welfare.

 

 

   

Experience Requirements

 

·        At least 3 year(s)

 

Additional Requirements:

 

·        Age at most 35 years

·        Minimum 3 years working experience in Community Mobilization/ Networking Advocacy, Rights Based Approach, Training. Candidates with expertise in community mobilization positions in any national and international development organizations will be given preference.

·        Age: Maximum age is 35. If a candidate is better qualified, age restrictions may be eased.

·        Character traits that are developed, active, and fluent will be obtained..

·        Must be prepared to work in a remote, hawar, seaside, or char location that is based in a rural setting.

·        Must be capable of leading group discussions, workshops, training sessions, and community-level advocacy

·        a capacity for analysis, evaluation, and alternate solution identification for any community-level issue.

·        Must be able to complete work under pressure and on time.

·        Must have team spirit and experience.

·        Computer operating skills should be completed. Report writing skills in Bengali and English are required.

·        Must be capable of riding a motorcycle. Must be enthusiastic about riding a motorcycle for project-related purposes.
